Mission Statement

The mission of Girls in Christ, Inc. (GIC) is to grow girls ages 10-18 in Confidence, Christ, and Community. Our primary aim is to foster spiritual growth, self-confidence, and community engagement among girls. We provide girls ages 10-18 access to bible study groups, self-esteem workshops, community service projects, leadership and professional development training, camps, and academic scholarships. At Girls in Christ, we empower girls to grow in their faith, build a strong community, and make a positive impact in the world through the teachings of Jesus Christ. We are dedicated to nurturing spiritual growth, fostering lasting friendships, and inspiring each girl to discover her God-given potential. Through bible studies, service activities, and group outings, we strive to create a supportive and loving environment where every girl feels valued, loved, and equipped to live out her faith with confidence and joy.

Purpose

The purpose of Girls in Christ, Inc. is to provide a safe space for girls to grow in Confidence, Christ and Community. Our three pillars drive our programs which promote holistic well-being.

Confidence

Sunflowers discover their strengths through social-emotional activities that embrace goal setting, healthy communication styles, self-love and leadership.

Christ

Sunflowers strengthen their spirituality through bible studies, prayer circles and self-discovery challenges.

Community

Sunflowers participate in community service activities and encouraging team building, selflessness and altruism.
